Well, its been a while since I've updated the blog, and I've got a long way back to go!
Big L got home early December, which was a nice surprise since he wasn't supposed to get home until mid January. The boys were very excited! I wasn't very prepared for the return, I forgot to bring the camera to the airport which means no pictures. Upsetting, but such is life!
We kept busy for the next couple of weeks, Big L readjusting to life back home with 2 crazy boys, and the boys readjusting to someone else helping with the disciplining, the baths, and all that other good things!
Christmas morning came quickly, and the boys were up bright and early, as if that was different then any other day. We brought them to the living room first to open their stockings. Very exciting for them, I think they would have been happy with just the stockings! You know, until the saw the gifts, and then forget the stockings, they'd be over that!
We then head upstairs so that they could open their presents. Big L and I had stayed up late the night before putting together the boys new wood train set. This involved hot gluing all the pieces together so that they couldn't take it apart anymore, and fling pieces all around the room. Who would do that you ask?! MY BOYS! Little L's eyes got so wide when he saw his new train set! He was done from then on out, we had to force him to open the rest of his gifts.
X was all about ripping into his gifts though! Like a rabid animal almost!
Even Big L got in on the action, showing off his new books from my mom, which he loves by the way. X is also in love with his new pirates jammies, he wears them every time they are put back in his drawer from being cleaned.
That night we had a big turkey dinner, and Big L insisted on taking a picture of the turkey.
Later that night the boys got into their new matching Little Einstein jammies, and went to bed early from a long exhausting day!
