2nd snow day

There was another snow fall, but this time there was a lot more of it to play with! It started in the evening, and I convinced Big L that we should take the boys out to play in it right then and there, you know, for their sake. (Or mine, whichever!) We got the boys dressed and headed outside. Little L instantly fell to the ground and started to make snow angels.

The boys had a great time, we were out there for almost an hour. We headed across the street to the empty lot where the boys ran up and down the dirt mounds, and threw snowball after snowball out onto the street.

The snow was coming down pretty hard so we decided it was best to come inside for the night, especially since both boys noses were running like crazy! The next morning we had a couple errands to run before we could go out and play in the snow again, but the boys were so excited to watch the snow from their car seats. This was the most snow I've ever seen in my life at one time, so I was excited as well!

Once we got home the boys enjoyed making their first snowman with Daddy.

Making a snowman was a lot harder then I had ever expected it to be, so we gave up that day, but we did go out and finish it the next. X was so proud of it, when I was taking their picture he said he wanted to hold the snowman's hand.
The boys also got to enjoy sledding down the backyard slope, although Big L said that the snow hadn't settled enough for it to be good for sledding. He was a good sport though and pulled them down the hill so that at least they got to experience sledding a little bit.
