Baby J smiling

Since he doesn't do much else, I figured another picture of Baby J smiling would be a good update post! Baby J at 12 weeks!

X's first performance

X's preschool put on an end of the year performance for family and friends to attend. X was so excited for it! For weeks he kept talking about how he was going to be the green bear, and that they had written their own book, instead of Brown Bear Brown Bear, it was Green Bear, Green Bear, so obviously that meant X was the star! ;) The day before their performance X started complaining of not feeling well, so I took him in to see his Dr. He had caught a nasty virus from Little L and also strep. Since Little L had just gone through the virus I knew that it meant at least 4 days of very high fevers, reaching 104 at times, and just feeling cruddy all around. X's teacher asked that if X felt up to it, to try and bring him in. Knowing how much work X and his class put into the performance I didn't want him to miss out. I gave him his tylenol, made sure his fever was gone before we left, and headed out to to his performance.
X did so well! He danced, and sang, and had a great time! So did Mommy, Daddy, and Little L. Baby J slept through the whole thing, but don't tell X!

X was fever free until the last 10 minutes or so, and at that point he just wanted to go home. So I took a couple pictures of him with his teachers, Mrs. Torres, and Mrs. Dunn, which he obviously wanted no part of, and we headed home. He was such a trooper though!

Cell Phone Games

With technology being everywhere these days, its no surprise that my 4, and 2 year old know what cell phones are and how they work. I thought since they are always asking to talk on the phone they might have fun talking to each other in different rooms on Mommy and Daddy's phones. It was entertaining for me as well to listen to the conversations they had!

Strawberry Picking

April and May are strawberry season around here, so in late may I decided it would be fun to take the kids strawberry picking. The Couchies joined us and all the kids had a fantastic time! We didn't pick much this year because it was so hot out, and the kids were doing a lot more smashing then actual picking, but the kids didn't mind.

It was so hot out that when we got back we pulled out the sprinklers for the kids to run through. To be 4 again without a care in the world!
