Baby J is walking!

Baby J took his first steps at about 7 months old, but now at 9 1/2 months he's really getting into it. He's so proud of himself that he has started to walk as much as he can, from wall to couch, couch to coffee table, etc.

Ho Ho Ho

Merry Christmas everyone!!

The boys woke us up bright and early Christmas day. I'm not really sure they ever went to sleep, they were so excited for Santa's arrival. I had to go wake poor Baby J up so that he wouldn't miss out on the celebration, he was so exhausted, but really got into the spirit when he saw all the boxes and wrapping paper he could destroy!

The boys started with their stalkings,

and then headed for the massive pile of presents that Santa left them. Santa went a little crazy this year, because apparently Santa seems to be under the impression that he is made of money. Crazy Santa.

Christmas Eve!

The evening started with dinner, and then the boys were allowed to decorate Christmas cookies for Santa. Little L decided he didn't want to eat his dinner, so he wasn't allowed to decorate cookies. He didn't mind, he seems to opt out of dessert more often then not.

After cookies, it was bath time, and then they were allowed to open their Christmas Eve present. They were so excited that someone didn't even bother to put underwear on. Their present this year was Toy Story jammies, and a Transformer.

Finally the boys had to go put their Reindeer food out so that they could find our home. Best Mom ever, I took them outside in the snow, with wet hair, wearing thin jammies and rain boots. It's amazing they have stayed alive this long!

They set up their plate for Santa,

and headed off to bed.

Its Christmas time!

My new favorite picture to kick off Decembers posts!

What a mess

Never leave a baby around a full glass of oreo chocolate milkshake. He looks like he feels really bad about it, doesn't he?!

Fall pictures

Here are a couple of pictures from the boys fall shoot with Paige Kimball.

Skating party

The boys were invited by their best friend E to attend her end of the season cheerleading party. They were having it at a local skating rink, and the boys were super excited about it. Since I get tripped up by that pesky air turbulence that hangs out about 10" off the ground (you know what I'm talking about), it was decided that Big L would take the boys around.
Little L did amazingly well, but poor X takes after me and can barely walk without breaking his neck, much less try it with wheels under his feet.
Here are a couple of pictures of them skating, as you can see, X was having a rough time. He decided skating wasn't for him about 30 minutes into the party and hung out with me and Baby J.
Yes, Big L was feeling all kinds of awesome in his skates!
